IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION:
At Amazon.com we only ship to the USA and Canada. We ship to FPO/APO and PO Boxes with USPS. We ship all other packages via FedEx, Monday-Friday. FedEx Standard shipping Home Delivery ground delivers Tuesday-Saturday (if Saturday service is available in the shipping area). FedEx Express Expedited shipping delivers Monday-Friday. Please Note: FedEx does not deliver and we do not ship on the following 6 holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Once an order is shipped you will be sent a FedEx tracking number to track your package. We ship with frozen gel packs to prevent spoilage on items like cheese and meats. If you are purchasing perishable items (such as dairy and meat products or heat sensitive products such as chocolates), we recommend selecting one of the following shipping options: Expedited Shipping which will be either:2 Day Air, (3 day) Express Saver or (1 Day or 2 Day) Home Delivery.
Expedited shipping should be selected for frozen meat products. Any selection other than Expedited shipping for perishables or heat sensitive products is at the customer's own risk. *We will not be responsible for perishables or heat sensitive products if Expedited shipping is not selected. Note: See Map 1 below: In the winter months (November-March), if the address we are shipping to falls within the 1 or 2 day shipping Zone, then you can select Standard shipping for perishables or heat sensitive products. But we will not be held responsible for this selection.

SHIPPING COSTS: During the summer, we ship in insulated shipping packaging with frozen gel packs to prevent spoilage for perishable items such as dairy and meat products. Our shipping costs are determined by the weight of the package and a set fee per shipment. A fee is also applied to the shipping cost to cover for the packaging material. SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Due to the perishable nature of cheese and meat we avoid shipping them later in the week to prevent the package from spending the weekend in a warehouse. We ship all orders that require 3 days transit time on Monday and Tuesday. We ship 2-Day Air orders on Monday-Wednesday. We ship overnight packages Monday-Thursday. Most orders take 1-5 days before they ship.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Please be aware that international shipments can be very expensive. All packages must be shipped international air (Except Canada) and still could be held up in customs. If duty, customs and or brokerage fees are due for a package, the consignee is responsible for the fees. FedEx will first try to collect these fees from the consignee. If FedEx is unsuccessful, the consignee is responsible for the fee to Parthenon Foods, Inc. Parthenon Foods, Inc. will then have the right to charge the fee to the customer in the same payment method used for the transaction. Orders to Canada cannot be shipped before we collect a deposit for duty/customs fees. Once you, the customer, pay this fee to FedEx (after you receive your order) we, Parthenon Foods, Inc., will refund this deposit. The deposit amount for your order will be calculated as a Duties & Customs Fee and will be included in your order total. |
