If you like sardines you will love riga sprats. They have an excellent smoked flavour, though they now seem packed in a little too much oil.
When first purchased, a few years ago, they were packed in an attractive radial pattern - now just standard sardine fashion.

The attractive scene on the can caught my attention while cruising a small gourmet grocery. I'm an avid fish eater and was curious to try these. They are wonderful. I love smoked fish and these beat any standard sardine I've ever tried. I wish Amazon offered them in multipacks with free shipping - I'd buy a bunch.

These are wonderful. We have been very happy with this product even my teenage daughter likes them. I am very unhappy that they are no longer available.

These Riga sprats are hard to find, but well worth the search. Perfect on their own, for lunch, snack, or hors d'ouvres. Great price on Amazon, quick delivery, too
