I love these things. They are the exact same thing I would always buy at a German specialty store around 40 years ago. They are salty licorice candy - if you like black licorice you would probably love these.

Very happy with the price and very fast shipping. And as for the candy, yes yummy yummy yummy. Grew up with them and such a great treat again, yes they are hard to find. Thanks!!

These suckers (sorry for the pun) are getting hard to find, so I appreciate what I can get. Mom and I both agree these are a bit less salty tasting than most we've encountered over the last 50 years. Besides a bit saltier taste, I would prefer if these Salmiak Pastillen were firmer/harder. Unfortunately, I don't have the willpower to open them and let them sit around long enough for that to happen :-) Overall, I'm glad I bought their last 11 bags.

Excellent Salmiak Pastillen. I try to keep myself on a daily "prize" portion but it is difficult. They are the best Salmiak Pstillen outside Germany.
