5Great olive oilJul 27, 2008
By Marlene Copeland "Total Health"
Wow, do we ever like this olive oil! We have brought back olive oil from Greece and find this a super quality for the money. Shipping makes it more pricey, but worth it. I keep it to fill my olive oil jar and this size keeps for a long time. We use olive oil instead of all vegetable oils.

1This oil is NOT what others reviewedJul 24, 2011
By Barbara
Do not be misled by the excellent reviews regarding this oil. This was FORMERLY pure Greek olive oil of excellent quality. The current oil being sold under this label is a combination of oils from 5 different countries. It is suitable for cooking but not at all the wonderful oil for salads and dipping which you would expect from 100% Greek olive oil. I requested a refund from Parthenon Foods because they had misrepresented the oil as a "Product of Greece", but they refused. They did, however, change the website (they dropped "Product of Greece"). Thanks, Parthenon Foods. At least YOU won't be misled, I hope.

5Very good tasting pure olive oilMay 27, 2010
By Janice Bechdolt "florida trader"
Many imported olive oils are blended with hazelnut oil...and
some tell you and label it "blended" and some don't. This
is labeled Pure Olive Oil , and it tastes it.. calamara
olives have a slightly different taste than the Italian
varieties, but the Italian imports are much more expensive
and the price difference to me didn't justify the taste
difference. I am very happy with this brand and when
the vendor could not ship right away , they called and
offered me another free product so I requested another
gal so I received TWO for One price, and the original
price was much lower than all other imports.

5Very Good with Feta and FRESH OreganoJan 13, 2011
By Yanni5Alive
This kalamata oil is quality, one of the best on the market in my opinion. We use it at our restaraunt for many things, mainly with Feta and greek salads, and also to make our house dressing.

5KALAMATA EVO AT ITS BESTJul 14, 2011
By Arkengareth "Sage"
You cannot make really great Greek salad without real Kalamata EVO. This product is so good, you will never be able to go back to another type. For a real 'Greek' treat, try it on a baked potato with a little salt and a dusting of paprika.
