A glass is filled with cold water, then a spoonfull of the mastic-like vanilla is submerged into the glass. The mastic is then consumed directly from the spoon. Mastiha, also known as mastic, comes from mystical trees in the island of Chios. It is used for flavor in a variety of dishes and baking. Mastic is also used in many home remedies to relieve certain symptoms. | | | Product Details: | | | Average Customer Rating:

By fairlind I should have noticed "mastic flavor;" not mastic. It's nothing but sugar and glucose, with a bit of mastic flavoring.
