This is the best mustard on the planet. Bar none. It packs a powerful, zesty punch. Despite its strength, it enhances the flavor of my melted cheese bagels. It is a given that when friends or relatives visit us from Germany, they bring along a couple jars of this superb condiment.

I have been using this mustard for over 32 years. I haven't found anything better in all my years. Why not give it a try, you will love it.

I had originally found this mustard at an Italian import store in Tucson and introduced it to family and friends. Almost everyone loved it. The exceptions were those people who don't like hot foods and even they liked it in moderation. The import store was having trouble stocking it, so I turned to the internet. I use it to coat homemade French bread dough when making calzones. I also use it as part of the marinade when cooking pork loin. For myself, I use it on sandwiches and hot dogs but I really like the horseradish taste.
 This mustard is not the same as authentic Lowensenf from Germany.Mar 13, 2012

This mustard is not nearly as spicy as the authentic product from Germany which I have tried. This seems like an "Americanized" version which I would not purchase again in the future.

I'm so glad I found this mustard to purchase here in the US. I used to get this from a German restaurant in NC and since we moved we haven't had it. So, finding this to get it shipped to me was awesome. We bought 3 jars so we would have extras on hand. My favorite mustard ever:)
