The Knorr mixes I bought I bought for myself for Oktoberfest, 2008; they were spicy and delicious. The weather was just starting to turn, and the spicy paprika taste of the Hungarian Goulash was a perfect warmer. The dishes were easy to prepare--just boil veg and fry stew beef and add to the Knorr sauce and heat. If I had made the sauces from scratch, it would have taken a lot of different, possibly expensive spices. I appreciated a reasonably-priced, time-saving alternative. Happy Oktoberfest! Vive la Deutschland (and Hungary!)
