Rare and uniqueSep 02, 2009

I first tried this honey during a holiday in Crete in 2003 and didn't think I'd be able to find it outside Greece (or at least, Europe). But, here it is! This is a unique experience. I drizzle it on thick Greek yoghurt and add a handful of toasted pine nuts. I'm sure there are better uses than that, but it's so delicious I can't bear to adulterate it. When I see it on the pantry shelf it takes a conscious act of will not to go and get a spoon and just have a tiny taste...
