This is sort of like a salty black licorice. It is not for everyone. In fact, most people who try it, don't seem to like it (at least those in the U.S.). They are great by themselves or with a beer.

I grew up with this kind of candy, and I absolutely love it, not many of my American friends like it, it is just too much for them, it has a strong flavor but if you like salty and something out of the ordinary, I dare you to try it :)
