Mineral water is good for you for several reasons, including obviously the minerals, but a very important factor that is not on very many people's radar screen is the fact that most people eat a very acidic diet, which is extremely unhealthy. One way to help raise your body's pH level is to drink mineral water which is very alkaline. I have been testing the pH of several different brands of mineral water, and what I am finding out is the ones that are bottled in plastic, have lost their alkalinity. Gerolsteiner retained it's high pH value because it bottled in glass. The reason mineral water in plastic bottles loses their high alkalinity is that carbon dioxide from the air can get through the plastic and create carbonic acid, which lowers the pH.

Very surprised no prior reviews. Like a handful of other waters available, this one has a slight effervescence and is not artificially pumped up with artificial CO3. Those who are used to the super foam carbonated drinks may find this brand flat, but the fact remains it is a natural health food product with trace amounts of minerals and electolytes. I refer to the glass bottle, as this is congruent with what the brand strives to attract.
