Our recipients said the cheese was wonderful but I will say that if you are ordering as a gift make sure you wait until right before you are going to give it to buy. The cheese itself comes in a beautiful box with ice packs but then is in a styrofoam cooler for shipment. I recommend taking it out of the cooler before giving as it can ruin the effect.

Nice assortment. One cheese got molded (before opening) about 10 days after arrival. I GOURMET REPLACED IT PROMPTLY. Nice grouping for a wine tasting party.

I was very disappointed, when sending this to my sister as a gift, that three of the four cheeses she received were NOT the ones advertised. Yes, the product description includes a disclaimer about substitution, but the cheeses she received were not, in my opinion, as "exotic" as the ones advertised, and were not even the same types of cheeses.
