Simply the best smelling tasting tea!Jan 31, 2012

Had this tea at a friend's house that is German. This is the best brand to buy of fennel tea. It is authentic from Germany, even only has German text on the box-no English. Smells so wonderful you can actually smell it somewhat in my pantry. This tea has many mecidinal properties also, including IBS, destressing, insomnia, etc... Love it!

I suffer from a stomach disorder, and for years I have used Pompadour Fennel Herb Tea (Teekanne), which helps me greatly. It was not easy to find in the States, to buy it I had to wait for a trip to Europe. But now, thanks to Amazon, I am very happy that it is readily available when needed.

I first found this tea at a favorite store (Smokehouse of the Catskills, Veteran, NY) that sells a lot of interesting foods imported from Germany as well as their own smoked and fresh meats. I'd enjoyed this brand's mint tea for years, so despite some irritation at their giving up the lovely brand name "Pompadour" for the far less pleasant (to me) "Teekanne", I decided to try their other flavors. The fennel is lovely; I like it at least as much as mint, and it has a positive effect on an unsettled stomach. People who dislike licorice or anise flavors would be unlikely to enjoy it, but I really appreciate both the aroma and the taste, and am happy to find it on Amazon.

This tea is very delicious and calming.
I can not get enough from it!
Also very good for the stomach during pregnancy!

I bought this tea for a diet I was going to start and find it very good. I drink it everyday now.
