does not taste like real walnut preservesJul 26, 2009

I love green walnut preserves. I ate them in Turkey and Armenia, and absolutely adore them. So I was very happy to find one sold in the US, and ordered 2 of them immediately. However, I am extremely disappointed. It does not taste like anything I tried before: it's sour, does not have any aroma of walnuts and taste like something very artificial. Then walnuts themselves are too dry and hard to chew.
Pls let me know if you find a good brand of walnut preserves sold in the US! Definitely avoid this one!
